The Opportunity

The Corporate Sales Assistant Manager is a sales function responsible in bringing sales through corporate clients. The role will be assigned to handle either the agency, broker, or direct channel.

The assigned CS Assistant Manager shall lead, manage, and develop the agency teams under him / her in line with the corporate objectives and vision. CS officer is also expected to provide inputs and recommendations to agency leaders on strategies in closing employee benefits to corporate clients and in generating additional sales from lead generation activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively execute strategies and action plans on handling corporate accounts and lead generation activities.

  • Meet the set targets in terms of APE, number of producing Financial Advisors and number of closed cases.

  • Train and manage Financial Advisors / brokers to sell to employee benefits to corporate clients. This will include Worksite program, Group Insurance, Group Credit Life and Corporate Retirement.

  • Build and execute process to ensure that Service Level Agreements for the delivery of corporate account and lead generation requirements are met.

  • Build and maintain a professional and ethical agency force at the sector level, in line with regulatory, industry and company standards.

  • Reinforce various company communications and initiatives of Corporate Solutions through agency meetings, roadshows, SSIP campaigns, broker business review and lead generation activities.

  • Develop, implement, promote and monitor programs and campaigns of Corporate Solutions.

  • Supports the agency / broker in conducting corporate training programs, client presentations and business reviews.

  • Ensure efficient delivery of services related to proposal generation, presentation and closing requirements and lead generation sales conversion.

  • Support the Agency / Broker in the resolution of agency conflicts and agency-related issues particularly on franchising and corporate account.

  • Be expected to provide inputs and recommendations to agency territory on strategies in closing employee benefits to corporate clients and in generating additional sales from lead generation activities.

  • Train and manage agents / brokers to sell to employee benefits to corporate clients. This will include Worksite program, Group Insurance, Group Credit Life and Corporate Retirement.

We are looking for

  • With very strong sales background, preferably in the insurance / HMO industry.

  • Experience as Business Development Specialist in an Insurance Company who’s been responsible in bringing in sales through Corporate Clients which may have handled agency, broker or direct channel.

  • With three years or more relevant experience in sales, business development, training and agency management preferably in a life / HMO insurance setting

  • Has held key positions relevant to the requirement of the job

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies/ Administration / Economics / Management

  • Computer Proficiency (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power point)

  • Background in leading, managing and developing the agency teams under him in line with the corporate objectives and vision.

  • Very strong sales background, preferably in the insurance industry who handles sales, business development, training and agency management
